Today’s selections are from Perkins Cove, an old fishing village that now contains shops and restaurants, in Ogunquit.

I’m just back from a week in Ogunquit, Maine, with plenty of pictures. I’ll post more throughout the week. For starters, here are three from Nubble Light in nearby York.

As promised, I’m posting more from Washington, D.C. Here’s one from the Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetary, near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

It’s taken me a few days for me to post, with travel and all, but I had the opportunity to shoot Hillary Clinton’s concession speech at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Not having credentials, all my photos were taken from the crowd. I changed locations a few times, and had to shoot over people’s heads for nearly all of the event. But I’m pretty happy with the results. Everything was taken with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 300mm f/4.

I spent the weekend with 20 other great folks at a photo workshop at the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry. John Barclay (www.barclayphoto.com) led the workshop, assisted by Carla Klouda (www.kloudaphoto.com). If you’re looking to get motivated to improve your craft, spend time with John and Carla.

My friends Jesse and Stephanie were married on Saturday in a beautiful ceremony and reception in Wilkes-Barre.

I wasn’t the wedding photographer but I did take plenty of shots and will be posting more soon. For now, here’s one that I particularly liked.

Blue Man Group - with their outstanding opening act Mike Relm - returned to Wachovia Arena on Friday night. A selection of shots can be found in my Music gallery.
